We’ve received reports of a phishing email targeting Transact Credit Union Corporation members.
The email uses Transact Credit Union Corporation branding and states that your account has been locked due to unsuccessful login attempts. It asks you to click on the ‘Verify Now’ button in order to unlock your account and confirm your personal details.
These fake emails are designed to capture personal information such as your Transact Credit Union member number, passwords and contact information. Those who unsuspectingly click on the link and share information may later discover their Transact Credit Union Online account has been accessed by unauthorised persons.
